Wine Gifts That Are Just Plain Bad
Everybody is always talking about the greatest gift ideas to get someone who has a particular interest or passion but it really is rare that someone has the cojones to take the opposite approach and call the really stupid ideas for what they are – Stupid. We all owe Tom Wark over at Fermentation a big hat tip for publishing his list of not the best but the Worst Wine Gifts.
“Few other consumer products, and particularly consumable consumer products, have spawned as many “accessories” as wine. If you have a wine lover on your gift list this holiday season, it’s pretty easy to satisfy them without ever digging into your cellar for a bottle.

The above is just a sample – The entire list contains 10 items and they get worse as the list goes on – Well worth a read even if just for entertainment. But really Tom is dead on when he talks about wishing that he could have been there when these ideas were conceived to hear the explanation of the WHY???
